What We Do

Carson PTA facilitates numerous programs, services, and community events to support Carson students and their families. Below is an overview of the support we provide.

Staff & Instructional Support

Each year we provide staff funding to support small-group learning, classroom mini-grants to cover supplemental materials and supplies, and professional development for Carson teachers.

Educational Enrichment Programs

Carson PTA is committed to making rich educational experiences accessible to all students, inside and outside the classroom. Each year we sponsor the Character Education program, as well as other student experience enhancing activities, such as the Future Friends program for 4th graders. In addition, the PTA facilitates student advocate groups, like GO Green!, plus social events like Carson’s beloved annual Disco.

Technology & Site Improvement

The PTA funds new computers, software, and maintenance each year, including new Promethean Boards. Our fundraising also contributes to air conditioning units for each classroom.
