The annual Carson Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year! This week-long event starts with an online auction and ends with an auction party which includes a silent auction, live auction, paddle raise, heads or tails game, buy-a-share parties, teacher experiences for your children, grade level baskets, food, open bar, dancing, and dessert.

Proceeds from this year’s auction will be used to enrich Carson’s curriculum through funding for staffing, grants for teachers to furnish or update their classrooms, technology for the classrooms, and continuing education opportunities for our teachers as well as for general upkeep of the school.

The adults-only live event for 2024 is a Caddyshack themed party at Hangar Club in Lower. This year’s auction will be held on November 15th at 7pm. At the event there will be an open bar, light food, golf simulators & contests, costumes, and dancing.

ABOUT THE AUCTION

Online Auction

The week leading up to the event we have an Online Auction with over 200 items to choose from. Donations are collected from our Carson families and throughout the community.

Buy-A-Share Parties

Buy-A-Share Parties are hosted by Carson families that help raise money for Carson, but also help encourage community and all around fun with other Carson families. We are always looking for more Buy-A-Share hosts and party ideas. Past parties include Men’s Bourbon tasting, Pickleball Tournament, Progressive Bike Party, Private Pilates Class, and swim parties at Virginia Vale and Crestmoor.

Teacher Experiences

Teacher Experiences are offered by Carson teachers to provide some fun with their students outside of a normal school day. In the past, we have had parties like Principal for a Day, Zoo Lights with a teacher, Blossoms of Lights with a teacher, School Announcements, Bowling, Pizza Party, and more.

CLASS Baskets

Each grade will put together Class Baskets for purchase during the silent/live auction. Past basket themes have included a spa day, outdoor movie night, bike & accessories, wood fired pizza, a night away, date night and more.

Live Auction

The Live Auction features memorable items that you won’t want to miss! Past live auction items include TWO front row parking spots at Carson, mountain houses, a beach house, bourbon & celebrity liquor baskets and more.

PAddle Raise

The Paddle Raise is a direct donation to the Carson Auction at the event. The entire donation is tax-deductible. Our goal is for 75% of auction attendees to participate, at any amount.
